WWII German Jülich Tax Office Dedication Sash – Veteran Bringback

$250.00Price

Original WWII German ceremonial dedication sash bearing the inscription “Die Mitarbeiter des Finanzamtes Jülich,” translating to “The Employees of the Jülich Tax Office.” This example was brought back to the United States by a veteran. The red fabric sash features decorative black script, an applied white roundel with black swastika, and metallic fringe along the lower edge. It was likely intended for presentation with a ceremonial wreath or commemorative display. The sash measures approximately 55 inches long. The piece shows substantial age and use, including creasing, staining, scattered holes, fabric loss, fraying, and wear to the fringe. These condition issues are clearly visible and contribute to its untouched period appearance. An unusual veteran-bringback example connected to the civil administration of Jülich during the Third Reich. Condition: Please review photos carefully for full details.
