SA/SS Standard Bearer Gorget With Chain
German WWII SA or SS standard bearer gorget, featuring the large sunburst-style central emblem with political eagle and swastika detail, complete with its heavy suspension chain. These gorgets were worn by designated standard bearers during formal ceremonies, parades, and organizational functions.
The standard bearer held an important ceremonial role, carrying the unit or organizational standard during public events and official gatherings. Gorgets such as this served as highly visible insignia of that duty, making them especially desirable among collectors of German WWII political regalia, SA and SS uniform accessories, and Third Reich ceremonial items.
This example has strong display presence, with an impressive shield form, detailed central insignia, and original-style chain configuration. A scarce and visually striking piece with excellent collector appeal.
