NSDAP Wochenspruch Weekly Quotation Propaganda Poster
German WWII NSDAP “Wochenspruch der NSDAP” weekly quotation propaganda poster, featuring a printed quotation attributed to Adolf Hitler with decorative floral artwork above the text.
The Wochenspruch der NSDAP, or “NSDAP Weekly Quotation,” was a series of propaganda display prints issued for public presentation in Germany. These posters typically featured political, ideological, or morale-building quotations and were displayed in offices, schools, workplaces, and public spaces.
The German text reads:
“Die Frau hat auch ihr Schlachtfeld: Mit jedem Kinde, das sie der Nation zur Welt bringt, kämpft sie ihren Kampf für die Nation.”
Literal translation:
“The woman also has her battlefield: with every child that she brings into the world for the nation, she fights her battle for the nation.”
This example is marked along the lower margin as a Wochenspruch der NSDAP issue and is dated Folge 51, 18.–24. Mai 1941, published by the Zentralverlag der NSDAP, München. A strong period propaganda piece for collectors of Third Reich printed material, NSDAP political items, home front propaganda, and German WWII paper ephemera.
