Identified WWII U.S. Army uniform grouping belonging to Private First Class Francis Antonio DePaul of the famed 31st Infantry Division “Dixie Division.” This set includes the service tunic, matching trousers, and undershirt. The tunic retains its original 31st Infantry Division shoulder sleeve insignia featuring the iconic “Dixie Division” patch, along with period U.S. collar discs and PFC rank insignia. Constructed in classic OD wool service material, the uniform presents the timeless appearance associated with American Army personnel of the Second World War. Named and identified uniform sets carry significant historical and research appeal, offering collectors the opportunity to further investigate the individual soldier behind the grouping.
