German WWII SS visor cap eagle insignia, attributed as a veteran bring back from Louis M. Davids. The tag identifies the piece as an SS visor cap eagle with RZM 475/39 maker marking for Ferdinand Wagner. The eagle shows an aged field appearance with remaining green fabric remnants to the reverse. The original attachment prongs were removed at some point prior to our procurement of the item. A desirable SS cap insignia piece with veteran attribution and maker information.
