German WWII M42 Steel Helmet Repainted Complete Helmet
German WWII M42 steel combat helmet retaining its original liner and chinstrap assembly. This example has been postwar repainted, giving the helmet a clean display appearance while still retaining its wartime configuration and components. The shell shows the marking “D295,” though no additional visible size stampings could be identified. Appears to be a larger-sized helmet shell based on overall proportions. The rolled-edge-less profile characteristic of the M42 pattern remains clearly visible. A solid representative German WWII helmet for display, reenactment, or as an entry-level collectible example with original interior components intact. Condition: please review photos for full details.
