Original German WWII Deutscher Volkssturm Wehrmacht armband, featuring the distinctive printed text design used by Volkssturm personnel during the final phase of the war. The Volkssturm was formed in late 1944 as a national militia, drawing together civilians, older men, and youths for emergency defensive service as Germany’s military situation deteriorated.
