1944 NSDAP Wochenspruch Poster – Eichendorff Quote

$100.00Price

German WWII NSDAP “Wochenspruch der NSDAP” weekly quotation propaganda poster, featuring a bold framed design with white lettering on a dark field and an attributed quote by Eichendorff.

The Wochenspruch der NSDAP, or “NSDAP Weekly Quotation,” was a series of propaganda display prints issued for placement in public spaces, workplaces, schools, offices, and community settings throughout Germany. These posters paired short literary, political, or morale-focused quotations with strong graphic presentation for public messaging.

The German text reads:

“Es fällt das Heil vom Himmel nicht. Es will erobert sein.”

Literal translation:

“Salvation does not fall from heaven. It wants to be conquered.”

This example is marked along the lower margin as Wochenspruch der NSDAP, issued by the Reichspropagandaleitung, H.A. Pro. PII, Folge 50, dated 10. bis 17. Dezember 1944, and published by Zentralverlag der NSDAP, München. The quote is attributed to Eichendorff, adding literary interest to this late-war propaganda display piece.

A strong period paper item for collectors of German WWII propaganda, NSDAP printed material, Wochenspruch posters, literary quotation propaganda, home front display pieces, and Third Reich political ephemera.
